Summit County is known as Colorado's playground, and we love to play. We all know Summit is famous for it's four world class ski resorts, but alpine skiing is just the tip of the iceberg. We also have phenomenal cross country skiing, snow shoeing, and snow mobiling to keep us occupied in the winter. Summit County is just a short drive to Vail, Beaver Creek and Winter Park, and there is always a weekend in Moab when old man winter overstays his welcome.
We all came for the winter, but summer is the reason we're still here. A summer of 70° degree days with clear blue skies is hard to leave behind. Summer days are spent climbing "14ers", on the trails hiking or mountain biking, taking a road bike up Vail Pass and biking down into Frisco with breath-taking views, enjoying some of the best trout fishing you can find, or simply taking in the scenery and the sunshine from the deck of your favorite local establishment.
The Executive Resorts staff is all about mountain living, and we created this website to share our high country experiences with you. We hope you will take a few minutes to browse our pages, and hope that you enjoy the pictures, articles, and local lowdown contained within, so that until you return to our paradise, you can live vicariously through us. We would also love feedback or suggestions on additional content you would like to see.
