Breckenridge is just weeks away from it 150th anniversary, and mining still rules. The Country Boy Mine, which still contains an estimated $100 million worth of gold, conducts mine tours which attracted some 20,000 people last year. This year, visits are 17% above last year’s numbers. The Country Boy is one of 13 mines in Colorado offering tours.
