The Town of Breckenridge and the Breckenridge Ski Resort are gearing up for a retooled, 24-day festival celebrating spring this year, which will be begin April 1.
Festivities include low-cost or free live arts, entertainment and music events, family activities, specials and discounts on dining and shopping around town as well as alpine competitions and sporting events.
This year, the spring season is enhanced by heavy snowfall and a later closing day — April 24.
Events will include a free on-mountain concert series featuring the Wailers, moe., Ozomatli and the Flobots and the Breck Ascent Series.
