Most economic analysts and economic development experts believe the boom in the Vail Valley that peaked in 2007-08 will not be topped, or ever achieved again. It was the peak of all peaks. While some see a slow recovery, and promising returns from the completion of major redevelopment in Vail, it could be years before the local economy picks up again.
